Ten & Six With Mike Otto - Week 2 (Thursday Bonus!)

Slow down, Magellan... There's a "New" England?

Well hello, football fans! Welcome back to Ten & Six!

Week 1 was kind of a shitshow, but more on that in Saturday's full column.  Right here we're kicking off Week 2 of the NFL season by asking Mike to give us his take on tonight's game between the New York Football Jets and the New England Patriots.

It's certain to be a boisterous crowd in Foxborough tonight.  Mikey, who's taking the W?

New York Jets (1-0) at New England (1-0)

The Patriots came shockingly close to losing to the Bills last weekend and, having promised to drink a glass of freshly squeezed monkey piss if they did , I'm glad they pulled it out because I'm pretty sure drinking monkey piss is how AIDS started.

Typical Jets Week 1 victory. Beating a shitty team on a fluky ticky-tack last minute penalty to keep Jets fans from slitting their wrists for another weekend. I will say the only reason I would enjoy the Jets going say, 10-6, and earning a surprise wild card berth would be watching that moronic fuck Fireman Ed attempt to come crawling back only to be burned at the steak during halftime of their playoff game. Anyway, sharpen the knives, Jets fans, because reality is going to set in Thursday night.

Final Score:
New York Jets: 13
New England Patriots: 27

Well there you have it, football fans!  A tough loss for filthy Jets fans everywhere! 2-0 for the somehow-even-filthier Pats fans!

Be sure to swing back here to Newest Industry on Saturday for Mike's full Week 2 breakdown.  He'll make his picks for the week, look at some positives & negatives from the Vikings Week 1 loss in Detroit, and break down their Week 2 game against the Bears at Soldier Field.

For more of Mike's football talk be sure to give him a follow on Twitter (@SwervinTaters). He's spent most of this week suffering nightmares in which Reggie Bush runs past him and he's powerless to stop him.
