Well hello again, football fans! Welcome To Ten & Six's Week 6 kickoff!
Mikey Otto & the Vikings both took a much deserved week off last week. However, it's time to get back to work! Tonight's matchup is a big one, pitting America's must insufferable city against America's filthiest city! Somebody's going to win, but really, the real winners are those of us who never have to set foot in Chicago.
Mikey, who takes the W?
New York Giants (0-5) at Chicago Bears (3-2)
The Bears get a cupcake game to right the ship with a little Thursday Night Football. I would love to see the Giants get their first win of the year at Soldier Field amongst the screaming throngs of drunken Chicago residents, but I think its more likely Tom Coughlin keels over and ascends to heaven in the 3rd quarter.
Win or lose, little Jay Cutler better get the ball to Brandon Marshall. The grumbling has been growing more audible the last couple weeks. The Lions have Calvin Johnson, aka Megatron, well the Bears have Brandon Marshall, aka Grumbletron. From here forward he shall be known as such. So let it be written, so let it be done.
The Giants won't even come close to winning this game, Eli throws 3 picks. Bench him! I'd love to see that.
Final Score
New York: 13
Chicago: 31
There you have it, folks! A W for Chicago! Though they're still responsible for both Hawk Harrelson & Common, so, y'know, "winning" is relative.
The Vikings signed Josh Freeman & host Killa Cam & the Panthers this week. Be sure to stop back Saturday afternoon as Mike will be back to discuss all of this.
